OMG!! What an amazing surprise! I was too under the weather to go to my planned Halloween party tonight. So I decide to come check up on one of my fav authors and boom! Book fresh out of the oven! Just bought my copy from Amazon and off to read I go!! You just made my day (and my next few sleepless nights devouring page after page :D)

I have just finished LOTBD and I loved it. I didn’t expect to ’cause I don’t usually like zombies but this story is so original and daring and well written I couldn’t stop reading until I found out what happened to everyone. Thank you R. Lee, now I need a nap.

One thing that is bugging me – Is she really herself or is she a reflection of his perception of her? These are the thoughts that keep me up at night, among others.

When I catch up on my sleep tonight (since I stayed up to 3 am last night reading this, then ignored everything today but my couch and pajamas and this book:), I’m gonna write a review on how kick ass and all consuming LOTBD was and how when it ended , I wish it went on for 1000 more pages…..Your a fecking magician with world building and imagination, loved it so much!
I finished it today. And oh, it was brilliant. I loved it. I have been tired for the past few days (usually the only time I get to read is right before bed) but it was so worth it. Azrael and Lan were perfection and their story was epic and beautiful. I’m so grateful for every book you release. Now I’m off to write a review!

I just want so say I stumbled on your work a while back when you released Last Hour Of Gann. I don’t read these kinds of books so what hooked me about it, I don’t know, but I adored it. I thought I couldn’t love another book the same after it. Until I read Land Of The Beautiful dead. As an author myself – I read a lot of romance books but never, not ever, have I read a male that captured me the way Azrael did. I would go as far as saying he is the most flawless male character I’ve ever read. I adored the book. I wish I could go back and discover it all over again. You do something utterly unique with your writing. I hope that never stops. Thank you.
R Lee your talant is huge and your imagination… downright frightening. I will never look at shish kabob (meat on a stick) without puking in my mouth just the tiniest bit. I’m on my first reread and love it more the second time around. Thanks so much for sharing!

I read Land Of The Beautiful Dead until four in the morning. Couldn’t put down my kindle. I’m a walking zombie at the office. What a great book. Can’t wait for the next book. Please tell me you are hard at work on the next book.
Only you can make me love Zombies. Seriously, I’ve actively avoided the Zombie love genre – even when I read Troll romances, I scoffed at Zombies.

Hey,I feel the same as JP. I read LOTBD through Kindle unlimited but I want to support you. How do you get the most money? Through Amazon. That’s how I normally buy.
As long as you purchase it through either Amazon or the Nook Store or CreateSpace or some other legitimate site, I am supported and I thank you. At the moment, LoBD is only available through Amazon Kindle or Create Space (it’ll be on Nook in two months or so. I had to promise Amazon no other e-pub site could have it until their promo was done).

Dear R. Lee., we don’t actually celebrate Halloween in Russia but this Autumn I’ve been counting down the days until October, 31 ever since I read that the LOTBD would be available (thank God Amazon and Kindle are not yet forbidden in Russia (kidding))).

oh i hope it goes to other venues other than amazon and B&N, they are country based and i can’t buy them 😦
Do you have any suggestions? I have to approach the venues myself and frankly, those are the widest distribution points I know that accept indie authors.
Just finished Land of the Beautiful Dead last night. I couldn’t put it down once I started and had to force myself to get some sleep. It was amazing! I wonder though…do you have a picture of reference you used for Azrael? I am very curious 🙂 But thank you so much for writing another amazing book. I loved it!
